This week I asked you all this:
In eight years the combined age of my two sons and I will be 124. What will it be in five years time?
The solution is after the break!
So if the total age is 124 in eight years, we can work out the total age now by subtracting 24 (three lots of eight years, one lot per person). This gives us 100. To get the age in five years time, we simply then add on 15 (three lots of five years, again one lot per person).
Therefore, the answer is 115!
Perhaps it was a bit too easy this week – what do you think?
